About

I worked at PlayStation Visual Arts as a generalist codeveloping with Naughty Dog. We were a small team working mostly independently from Naughty Dog. I gained a wide range of experience from jumping between different systems that needed to be ported over to PS5 or had new features to be added. I also became quick at being able to understand systems by reading through the code due to not being able to talk with the original system owners.

Contributions

Late into the project our team was informed that we needed to include analytics in order to track certain metrics. I headed meetings with directors to determine what metrics to prioritize and what events we needed to make to track them. I then communicated with the third party we used for analyzing the analytics to determine the details on the events. I was able to quickly create the needed events and continue to work with the third party to ensure we were getting the data we needed.
